| When I printed the higher-resolution version of this image, it was my very first totally digitally produced stereocard. As you can see, it was just a pile of junk on my table at the time -- sorry about the mess! The handle of something comes "through the window" in the lower right. Not a technical problem other than it isn't very interesting, but with this image it doesn't really matter.
Since then, there have been others such as this one called "Lilies" (this image was taken with a handheld digital camera that I "cha-cha'd" for a pair of photos while leaning over a sink to catch the morning sun coming through the window): |

| As you can see, the right image is a bit lighter than the left one because the camera changed it's exposure with the move in position. Before printing, I corrected the right one a bit to match the exposure of the left one, but even this raw version (well, a reduced resolution shrunk version of it) is viewable (using "straight" non-crosseyed freeviewing as is the case with traditional holmes stereocards). |
| In terms of just making stereo pairs with a digital camera, nearly all of the stereo pair images (and most of the non-stereo images too for that matter) on this site are digital camera generated. Most were done with a low resolution Fuji DS-7, but the newer images (like the lilies) were done with a Nikon 950 (now also "obsolete"). |
